The Games for Change Student Challenge is a game design competition that invites students to create digital games inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
For 2024, in collaboration with G4C Learn, Press Start Academy hosted the first ever international game jam in Hong Kong for the Games for Change Student Challenge 2024, where we took students through the processes of game design and the design cycles they can go through to make their own games.
These games were then submitted to the Student Challenge 2024, and one of our students took home the prize for “Best Tabletop Game” for his game titled “Eco-city.”
